The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested several individuals suspected of drug trafficking in Budumburam in the Central Region.
These includes 32-year-old Rebecca Afia Naa Dei Kotei, popularly known as “Mother.”
Through the operation, conducted on Friday, January 16, 2026, as part of NACOC’s nationwide crackdown, led to the seizure of cannabis, tramadol, and other controlled substances, targeting notorious dealers who had long evaded arrest.
This operation is aimed to curb Narcotics practices in Ghana.
