A manager of a widely consumed Ghanaian packaged food brand has been remanded in custody for allegedly attempting to traffic cocaine out of the country.
According to the Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Commission, the suspect concealed substances believed to be cocaine inside products belonging to the popular brand.
The arrest was made at the airport during routine security checks before the suspect could board an outbound flight.
