Francis Sosu, the Member of Parliament for Madina and a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), recently made remarks directed at unemployed youth in Ghana.
He suggested that instead of spending time on social media platforms like Twitter and TikTok complaining about the lack of jobs, young people should consider creating their own opportunities.
According to him, engaging in small businesses—such as owning several Indomie food joints—could provide a steady source of income.
Sosu emphasized entrepreneurship and self-reliance, arguing that building multiple small businesses can be more productive than constantly relying on the government to provide employment opportunities for the youth.
