Police Arrest Latifa In Suspect of Mamprobi Newborn Baby Theft

Police at Dansoman have arrested a 33-year-old woman, Latifa Salifu, in connection with the alleged theft of a newborn baby from the Mamprobi Polyclinic.

According to the Ghana Police Service, the suspect, who is a cloth seller and a mother of two, reportedly took the infant under unclear circumstances.

Swift police action led to the successful rescue of the baby, who has since been safely reunited with the mother at the Dansoman Police Station.

Authorities say investigations are still underway to determine how the incident occurred and whether others may have been involved.

Police have assured the public that further updates will be provided as inquiries continue into the case and all necessary legal processes are pursued.
