A mobile money vendor has been killed and another person left in critical condition following a deadly armed robbery attack at the Gomoa Dominase Onion Market in the Central Region.
According to eyewitnesses, five heavily armed robbers stormed the market and fired more than 20 rounds of ammunition before targeting the vendor and fleeing the scene.
The victim reportedly sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the stomach, neck, and back, resulting in his death.
Security agencies have since launched investigations into the incident.
