Ghana National Fire Service Responds to Road Traffic Accident on Accra–Kumasi Highway
The Ghana National Fire Service, Suhum Municipal Fire Station, responded swiftly to a road traffic accident at Kyekyewere on the Accra-Kumasi Highway on Thursday, April 10, 2026.
A seven-member team arrived promptly after receiving a distress call and found a DAF truck involved in the incident.
No persons were trapped in the vehicle. However, two male casualties were recorded. Preliminary investigations suggest the accident was caused by a burst rear tyre, which led to the vehicle losing control and sustaining partial damage.
