The Ghana Education Service (GES) has imposed a two-year ban on Koforidua Secondary Technical School (SecTech), New Juaben Senior High School, and New Nsutam Secondary Technical School from participating in all sporting activities.

This decision follows incidents that occurred during the recent Eastern Region inter-schools competition.

According to GES, the affected schools were involved in acts of hooliganism and misconduct that violated the established rules and code of conduct governing educational and sporting events.
The Service emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable and undermines discipline, sportsmanship, and the integrity of inter-school competitions, warranting strict disciplinary action.
