A young boy, believed to be between six and seven years old, tragically died on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, after reportedly getting stuck between the rails of a fabricated metal gate.
Reports indicate that the child had been locked indoors by his aunt, who briefly stepped out while he was asleep.
When he woke up, the boy allegedly tried to squeeze through the gate rails in an attempt to get outside but became trapped at the neck.
Local residents later discovered the body and alerted the police.
Authorities arrived at the scene and removed the body for further investigation, while the boy’s aunt has been taken into custody to assist with inquiries.
