Professor Christian Agyare, Provost of the KNUST College of Health Sciences, has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), effective 1st August 2026.
His appointment follows the expiration of the tenure of the current Vice Chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, at the end of the 2025/2026 academic year. Professor Agyare is expected to lead the university for the next term of office.
