The University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) has successfully performed four additional kidney transplant surgeries, further strengthening its growing transplant programme.
The latest procedures bring the total number of kidney transplants carried out at the facility to 15 since its first successful surgeries in June 2024.
The milestone highlights UGMC’s steady progress and expanding capacity in providing advanced renal care over the past two years.
