The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has called on chiefs in the Greater Accra Region to collaborate effectively to curb the persistent problem of selling the same parcel of land to multiple buyers.
He stressed that such practices create conflicts, undermine public trust, and hinder national development.

According to him, unity and transparency among traditional leaders are essential to protecting citizens and ensuring orderly land administration. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II emphasized that when chiefs work together to safeguard land ownership and resolve disputes, it will promote investor confidence, reduce litigation, and contribute significantly to Ghana’s overall social and economic development.
