The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially parted ways with Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, ending his tenure with the senior national team just two months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The decision followed a high-level meeting held earlier today involving Otto Addo, the Minister of Sports, and top officials of the GFA.

After discussions regarding the team’s direction and performance, the association decided to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
Otto Addo’s departure marks a sudden change in leadership for the Black Stars at a crucial moment, leaving the football authorities with the urgent task of appointing a new coach ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
