The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it will hold a National Thanksgiving Service following the conclusion of its presidential primary.
According to the party, the thanksgiving activities will be observed in two separate religious services to reflect Ghana’s diverse faith traditions.

The first event will be an Islamic prayer service scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026, at the National Mosque in Kanda.
This will be followed by an interdenominational Christian thanksgiving service o
n Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The services are intended to express gratitude for a peaceful primary process and to seek divine guidance and unity as the party prepares for the next phase of its political activities.
