Ghana Narcotic Control Has Introduced Plans Of Licensing the Cultivation and Uses of Cannabis In Ghana

Ghana’s Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has announced plans to introduce a licensing system for the cultivation, processing, and use of cannabis containing no more than 0.3% THC, strictly for medicinal and industrial purposes.

This move follows Parliament’s approval of the regulatory framework.

Under the new system, licenses will be issued only to qualified companies that meet rigorous security, traceability, quality assurance, and legal compliance standards.
