The Legal Counsel for the Head of Family of the Ekuana Royal Family of Parkoso and Nsuta has announced that the Accra High Court has upheld an interlocutory injunction filed by their client, Abusua Panyin Victor Kofi Owusu, also known as Abusua Panin Tupac.
The court order restrains some relatives of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba — including Papa Shee, Akosua Serwaa Schindler, Ernestina Fosuah Brempomaa, and Wofa Yaw Poku — as well as their agents, from organizing, promoting, or hosting any “Celebration of Life” event.
The event was scheduled for 28th–29th March 2026 at Independence Square in Accra or any other venue.
The High Court further warned that any violation of this directive will constitute contempt of court and will attract the appropriate legal sanctions.
