The issue centers on a legal battle over the estate of the late Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu.

His legal wife, Akosua Serwaa, has been seeking letters of administration through the courts to gain control over his properties, with legal representation from Lawyer William Kusi.

The process has sparked disputes involving another woman known as “Odo Broni,” who is alleged to have been Daddy Lumba’s long-term partner, as well as tensions with some family members and strong public backlash.
Adding a new twist, Akosua Serwaa’s daughter, Charlyn Fosuh, has publicly addressed the controversy.
She clarified that she did not sue her mother or Lawyer Kusi, but rather withdrew her consent from her mother’s estate application, choosing to distance herself from the case.
Her decision reportedly caused setbacks in the legal process.
The matter has generated intense online debate, including claims of betrayal, discussions about marital property rights, and reports of threats against Lawyer Kusi.
