Following the death of a student at an inter-school sporting event, the Central Regional Directorate of the Ghana Education Service has announced the immediate suspension of all zonal inter-school sports activities involving Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS).
The decision was taken in response to reports of violence and clashes among students during the competitions.
