Pastor Elvis Agyemang, founder and leader of Alpha Hour, has announced the indefinite suspension of all physical prayer meetings following a fire incident at the church auditorium on the night of February 9.
According to reports, CCTV footage captured a woman entering the auditorium, pouring petrol near the altar area, and setting several chairs on fire.
The incident caused panic but was quickly brought under control.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and has since been taken into police custody for further investigation.
In response to the attack, Pastor Agyemang cited safety and security concerns as the primary reason for halting in-person Alpha Hour sessions, assuring members that further updates will be communicated while authorities continue their work.
