A 29-year-old woman was rescued from a drainage system near the traffic light between Jubilee House and the Afrikiko Leisure Centre by personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service.
According to security officers, the rescue team received a call from the Jubilee House Information Control Department at about 7:30 a.m. this morning.
During questioning, the woman explained that three men had been chasing her the previous night.
In an attempt to escape, she entered the drainage as her only option to find safety.
