Reports circulating on social media allege that former Dome-Kwabenya MP and former Minister of State, Sarah Adwoa Safo, was involved in an incident linked to a dispute over succession arrangements following the death of her father, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo.
According to the reports, the incident allegedly occurred at a residence where a succession ceremony was taking place to install her brother, Kwadwo Safo Junior, as an elder and successor within the church founded by their late father. It is claimed that Adwoa Safo drove her vehicle into the property’s gate and discharged several gunshots during an altercation.
The reports further allege that she later sustained gunshot wounds after being shot at by individuals said to be military personnel at the residence of Kwadwo Safo Junior.
Additional claims suggest that the confrontation stemmed from disagreements over funeral arrangements and succession matters within the family.
