Lawyer for Chairman Wontumi, Andy Appiah-Kubi, has announced his withdrawal from the case.
According to him, he has formally notified both his client and the court of his decision, citing concerns about what he described as “unseen influences” surrounding the proceedings.
He also criticized the conduct of the presiding judge, describing it as unacceptable.
Appiah-Kubi stated that he will provide his full reasons for stepping down when he addresses the court.
