Ivory Coast supporters will not be travelling to the 2026 World Cup after reportedly being denied visas to enter the United States, according to Julien Kouadio Adonis, president of the country’s National Supporters’ Committee.
“The supporters have cancelled the trip because the US government does not want supporters from certain countries, including Ivory Coast, on its soil,” Kouadio said.
“This is deeply painful for us because our mission is to stand behind our national team, yet we are unable to fulfil that responsibility.”
