The FBI has identified Abu Trica as one of five Ghanaian nationals allegedly involved in a large-scale romance scam that reportedly defrauded more than 130 victims across the United States of approximately $15 million.
According to investigators, the scheme targeted individuals through deceptive online relationships.
Three suspects, known as “Arrangement” and “Lancaster” among them, have already been arrested in connection with the case.
Abu Trica is currently in Ghana and is reportedly awaiting extradition to face legal proceedings in the United States.
