President Donald Trump announced a New Immigration policy requiring non-immigrants seeking a Green Card to Return to their Home Countries and Apply From there

President Donald Trump has reportedly announced a new immigration policy requiring non-immigrants seeking a green card to return to their home countries and apply from there.

Previously, individuals who married American citizens could begin the process and, in some cases, obtain residency while remaining in the United States.

Under this reported change, even those married to U.S. citizens may now be required to return to their home countries and wait for approval before receiving a green card.

If implemented, the policy could significantly affect many immigrants and make the process much more challenging, especially for those entering marriages primarily for immigration benefits.
