Engineers and Planners (E&P), a mining and construction company owned by Dr. Ibrahim Mahama, has been selected to take over operations of the Damang Mine after emerging as the top performer in the government’s tender evaluation.
The company scored 93.15 percent in the review process, outperforming three competing firms.
The other companies that participated in the tender were Vortex Resources Mining Group, Heath Goldfields Ltd, and Maripoma Mining Services Ltd.
E&P’s strong technical and financial proposal secured the winning bid, positioning the company to assume control of the Damang Mine and continue its operations under the new arrangement approved through the government’s competitive selection process.
