Reports indicate that Joachim Löw is close to agreeing a deal to become the new head coach of Ghana’s Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Discussions between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the 2014 World Cup–winning manager are said to be at an advanced stage, with a short-term contract nearing completion.

A proposed salary of around €150,000 per month is currently part of the negotiations.

Ghana is looking for an experienced coach to guide the team into the upcoming tournament, and Löw’s pedigree is viewed as a strong fit.
