Management of Ridge Hospital has issued a formal warning to the public, urging calm and respect toward healthcare workers after a violent incident at the facility.
The caution follows the arrest of an 18-year-old individual who allegedly assaulted a security officer at the hospital’s Labour Ward on February 18th.
Authorities say the attack disrupted operations and endangered staff and patients.
Hospital officials stressed that violence against medical personnel will not be tolerated and called on visitors and relatives to cooperate with security measures.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a safe environment for workers, patients, and all stakeholders alike.
