The Forestry Commission of Ghana has filed a lawsuit at the High Court against businessman and political figure Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, over the alleged unlawful importation of two tigers into the country.
According to the Commission, the animals were brought into Ghana without the required permits and regulatory approval.
The legal action seeks an order compelling Bediako to surrender the tigers to the state, arguing that their possession violates wildlife and environmental protection laws.
Authorities say the move aims to enforce compliance with conservation regulations and ensure that exotic animals are handled under proper supervision standards.
