The mother of the female student involved in the widely circulated Nyinahin Catholic Senior High School incident has expressed shock and disappointment after watching the viral video showing her daughter in a confrontation with a teacher.
According to Eric Aboagye, Public Relations Officer of the Atwima Mponua District Education Directorate, the woman travelled to Nyinahin upon hearing about the incident.
After viewing the footage, she reportedly became emotional and struggled to come to terms with what she had seen.
Speaking on Adom FM, Mr. Aboagye revealed that the mother broke down in tears, insisting that her daughter’s actions did not reflect the values she had instilled in her.
“She was crying and said that is not how she raised her daughter.
She was very surprised to see the video of her daughter fighting with a teacher,” he stated.
Mr. Aboagye added that the mother was deeply saddened by the turn of events and disappointed that the incident had escalated into a matter of widespread public discussion.
