Doctors and nurses at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) have called off their industrial action following discussions surrounding the suspension of the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr (Med) Paa Kwesi Baidoo.

The decision was announced by the Komfo Anokye Doctors’ Association (KADA) on Tuesday, June 9, after a series of engagements involving the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Hospital Board, management, and other key stakeholders.
The association said the suspension of the strike is intended to allow for continued dialogue and efforts toward resolving the issues at hand.
