A suspected thief has been apprehended for allegedly stealing worshippers’ shoes during prayers at a mosque in Hadejia, Jigawa State, Nigeria.
Reports suggest the suspect had been targeting several mosques over an extended period.
According to a witness, Muhammed Sani Yusuf, the incident occurred on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at a mosque located along Maje Road.
The total number of stolen shoes is still unknown.
