President John Dramani Mahama co-chaired the One Health Summit in Lyon, France, alongside Emmanuel Macron.
During the summit, he emphasized the growing complexity of global health threats, pointing out that issues like pandemics, antimicrobial resistance, and environmental challenges are increasingly interconnected.
Mahama called for a unified One Health approach, which integrates human, animal, and environmental health, to strengthen prevention, preparedness, and global collaboration in addressing current and future health crises.
