Sam George, Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram and Ghana’s Minister for Communications, has stirred debate after stating that he paid his dues for the NDC to win power, not for Ghanaians.
The minister made the comment while responding to criticism from some youth on social media who accused him of being dishonest, arrogant and incompetent in his role, the social media critics also referred him when they(NDC) were in opposition, he bragged that NDC will just use one week to fight Galamsey, LGBTQ+, jobs to eradicate unemployment and so on but they are not seeing anything.
In a lengthy post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Sam George explained that in 2017 he was among a small group within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who actively fought and sacrificed for the party and President John Mahama’s return to power, urging critics to stop attacking him.
