Ga Mantse King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II is reported to be in stable condition following a road accident that occurred around 2:00 a.m. today in the Oti Region.
The traditional ruler was traveling back to Accra from Tamale after a private visit to the Yaa Naa in the Northern Region, where he had engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening relationships among traditional authorities.
Sources close to the palace say the King remains in good spirits and is receiving appropriate care.
However, his driver suffered severe injuries during the incident and is currently undergoing intensive medical treatment.
Authorities are yet to release further details, while well-wishers continue to express concern and offer prayers for both men’s recovery and speedy healing ahead.
