A 25-year-old man has been arrested by police in Mankessim in the Central Region following a dispute with a sex worker over an unpaid agreement.
Reports say the man, identified as Yaw Boagyan, allegedly agreed to pay GH₵600 for a night with the woman.
After spending the night together, however, he reportedly refused to pay the agreed amount and instead offered her GH₵10.
Angered by the move, the woman caused a public disturbance in an attempt to force him to pay.
. When this failed to resolve the issue, she sought assistance from officers at a nearby police station.
Police intervened and took the man into custody as investigations into the matter continue.
