The High Court in Amasaman has reduced the 15-year prison sentence handed to Nana Agradaa to 12 calendar months. The new sentence takes effect from July 3, 2025, the date she was originally convicted.
Patricia Koranteng, popularly known on social media as Agradaa, was arrested in 2025 over fraud and defamation charges. Following her conviction, she was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment.
After several appeals, the Amasaman High Court on Wednesday, February 5, 2026, reviewed the case and reduced her sentence from 15 years to one year in jail.
Agradaa, who is the Prophetess and Head Pastor of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry located at Weija, was seen in court with her face uncovered as prison officers escorted her to the Amasaman High Court for the ruling.
