Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has been arrested just hours after she publicly accused Rosy Meurer of playing a role in the separation of actress Tonto Dikeh and her former husband, Churchill Olakunle.
In her statement, Okorie alleged that Rosy Meurer was initially introduced as Churchill’s personal assistant before later becoming his lover and eventually his wife, a situation she claimed deeply hurt Tonto Dikeh at the time.
Following the controversy, Angela Okorie was arrested in Lagos by operatives of the National Cybercrime Centre and subsequently taken to Abuja. She was arraigned on Wednesday and remanded at the Suleja Correctional Centre over alleged cyber-related offences.
As of now, the police have not publicly disclosed the specific charges against her.
