Attention Ghana music fans! Court drama alert for Mohammed Ishmael Sherriff known on showbiz as Black Sheriff has been sent Adenta court for an unpaid rented apartment.
The District Court 1 at Adentan Fafraha has ordered the musician to pay GH¢229,500 in rent arrears for his residence in Accra – or face the consequences.
The plaintiff, Dr. Evelyn Esi sent him to court on 18th December 2026 to demand for her money
Court officials tried to serve him personally but no avail So they posted the documents at the court and at his house in NTHC Estate, Adjiriganor, House No. 4.
Reports say he hasn’t paid rent since August 2024, with interest piling up. The court also ruled that he must continue paying $1,700 per month (converted to cedis) until he vacates, so proceedings can continue in his absence.
